Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." 1John4:10

I am so thankful today that God loved us so much that he gave up his Son so that whoever believes in him will not die but have eternal life. Some question "why would a loving God send some people to hell and only a few to heaven?" But the real question is, "why did God make a way for us sinful people to go to heaven when all we deserve is hell?" The answer is that He is a loving and compassionate God. He made a way for us, don't miss it!

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through him. John 14:6

Quick trip to Orlando

We traveled down to Clearwater to see our good friend Rachel and her family, and then headed to Orlando to visit with Uncle Marty, Juen and the boys. It was a long trip for a short visit (as you can probably tell from my tired eyes...Lily does not sleep well away from home!!) but it was SO worth it to see family and friends.
