Super-Lily
For the past two weeks, just about every day, we put Lily on her belly and try everything we can come up with to get her to roll over. We play the Superman song and put a cape on her...we get on the ground and show her how its done...we cheer her on and coax her with toys. No rolling over. Today, however, I put her on her belly as usual and then turned on the TV to Regis and Kelly. About a minute later I look down at Lily to find her ON HER BACK! She too, was watching Regis and Kelly and was grinning from ear to ear as if to say, "Haha I did it when you weren't looking!"

Lily's new trick
Check this out! Lily can roll her tongue! For the last 3 days this is all she does! I come in to get her in the morning and she is laying in her crib with her tongue curled. I change her diaper and she entertains herself by curling her tongue. She sneezes and her tongue curls! I kinda feel like she is rubbing it in because I can't curl my tongue! She gets it from her daddy.

Thanksgiving with the family

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving with our family this year. There is so much to be thankful for...our friends and family, our home, our church, our marriage, our baby girl, our jobs....and so much more. But nothing compares to the hope that we have in Christ Jesus.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." 1 Peter 1:3-5. What a gift! Thank you Father God.

Answered Prayers
Kyle had been telling me, "you just wait...the Lord will provide...every time God puts a desire like this in my heart, He always comes through." He had been asking the Lord to provide a newer, safer vehicle for Lily and I to drive around town in. The other day Kyle said to God, "I am sorry for not being content with what you have given us. All our lives are in your hands and if you think we need a different vehicle I trust that you will provide it. Until then, I will be content with what we have." A few days later his mom called and said that grandpa and grandma are buying a new car and they are giving her (Kyle's mom) their '06 Camry...but she said that she wanted us to have it! Once again God has done "immeasureably more than we could ever ask or imagine" Ephesians 3:20. So here is a picture of our new car! Thank you Lord!
